The Big Read October 2024 through April 2025 _____     

Kicking off on October 5 at Festival UnBound, Touchstone is mounting year-round programming focused on Sitting Pretty: The View from My Ordinary Resilient Disabled Body, the acclaimed autobiography by Rebekah Taussig. Join us for book club conversations, creative writing workshops, pop-up performances, panel discussions, and more. 

Special Event: Entre Lápidas y Mausoleos November 4 _____ 
“Between Tombstones and Mausoleums” by José Díaz depicts a candid, irreverent conversation between the seven deadly sins. This onstage play-reading may just give you a different way of seeing the reality in which we live. In association with Touchstone's Latinx Initiative and Panorama Cultural Latin News

It's the 25th year for our annual homegrown holiday celebration! Featuring a dash of music, a pinch of merriment, and a smidge of festive hijinx, this vaudevillian variety show welcomes you home for the holidays, no matter where you’re from. See you under the mistletoe! 

Special Event: Spit Out the Poison January 29 _____ 
Meet Paul. Paul is unhappy: with his life, his wife, his kids, his family, and his friends. Life did not turn out the way that Paul wanted. In this onstage reading of a new play by Touchstone Ensemble member Matt Prideaux, you get to decide if Paul's life turned out exactly the way that he deserved. 

Special Event: Becoming Practitioners of Peace February 2 _____ 
All are welcome at this art-filled interfaith gathering that unites us around the gifts of being together and the mystery of life. Share in the pursuit of peace, beauty, and justice - through music, prayers, poetry, dance, and wisdom stories. Magic February 20 - 23 _____ 
A young girl wakes up from an accident with no memory of who she is or the extraordinary gifts she once had. This original performance piece by Kiyaana Cox Jones is a restorative tale of resilience and the timeless power of the voices of women of color. Discover the beautiful magic that has been inside you all along. 

MFA Thesis Projects April 2025 _____ 
A series of original performances, created by our 2023-25 MFA students! In the past, this has ranged from staged productions to podcasts to workshops to offbeat performance pieces.These works are developed throughout the year, so stay tuned to learn more about what wonderful creative endeavors await! 

20th Annual Young Playwrights’ Festival May 18 _____ 
One night of short plays by local elementary and middle school students, lovingly designed and directed by Touchstone and performed onstage by community and professional actors.
