Crowded Kitchen Players will hold auditions for their holiday show "Tidings “ A Fractured Christmas Fable" on Sunday, September 28th from 6 to 8 PM and Monday, September 29th from 7:30 to 9:00 PM.
Auditions will be held at "the Kitchen" (1680 Minesite Road, Allentown, PA 18103).
Parking is available one-half block away on Chatter Way.
"Tidings “ A Fractured Christmas Fable" is an original play by popular Lehigh Valley playwright Brian McDermott and will be directed by Ara Barlieb.
The show will require a cast of 7 women and 6 men. In addition, there are roles for a boy or girl age 7-10 ,and a parent which can be played by either sex. There is also an "ensemble" of holiday shoppers and carolers.
Auditions will consist of cold-readings from the script and actors are asked to prepare a short monologue, if possible.
Rehearsals are scheduled for Sunday afternoons and Monday-Wednesday-Friday evenings in the Kitchen.
Performances for "Tidings" are December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 at Zions Reformed UCC (620 West Hamilton Street, Allentown)
Also needed are a stage manager and box office help.
