Crowded Kitchen Players seeks 6 men and 7 women for "The Brothers Tortellini, a Toga Comedy", based on the classic Roman farce "The Brothers Menaechmi" which was the source for Shakespeares "A Comedy of Errors", and "Two Gentleman of Verona", Richard Rodgers "The Boys From Syracuse", and Larry Gelbarts "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum".
Years after his twin brother was abducted by a human trafficker and sold abroad, Tortellini of Syracuse sets out across the Mediterranean hoping to learn of his brothers fate.
Auditions will be held July 14 and 16 from 7 to 9 PM at 1680 Minesite Road, Allentown, PA 18103.
Actors will be asked to perform a short monologue of their choosing and to read from the script.
"The Brothers Tortellini" will run October 10 through October 26, 2014 at McCooles in Quakertown, PA.
