The Pennsylvania Playhouse is pleased to announce auditions for Neil Simon's Tony Award winning play “Brighton Beach Memoirs.”
Set in Brooklyn, New York during the Great Depression, this coming-of-age comedy focuses on Eugene Morris Jerome, a teenager who experiences puberty, sexual awakening, and a search for identity as he deals with his family.
Auditions will be Monday, January 15th and Tuesday, January 16th at 7:00PM. Callbacks, if necessary will be Thursday January 18th. Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, January 21st.
Rehearsals will be held on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Performance dates are April 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 2018.
