The Pennsylvania Playhouse Cabaret Series is proud to announce auditions for its Fall performance of œFrom Stage to Screen (and back) featuring music from Broadway shows that went Hollywood (Chicago, RENT, Carousel, etc.) and selections from the Silver Screen that ended up on the Great White Way (Newsies, Hairspray, The Producers, etc.).
We are looking for approximately 16 “ 20 vivacious performers of any age, gender, race, and experience! Rehearsal scheduling is flexible to accommodate your life and cast members should expect an average of two rehearsals per week from mid September through opening night. Our shows repertoire is not pre-determined and will be selected to highlight the specific talents of the cast!
Audition Dates: Wed, Sept 12 & Thurs, Sept 13 @ 6:30pm
Please bring sheet music for two pieces of contrasting styles that best show off your range and abilities. An accompanist will be provided.
Performances: Fri, Nov 2 @ 8:00pm; Sat, Nov 3 @ 2:00pm & 8:00pm
