Pennsylvania Playhouse will be holding auditions for the show 'Fruitcakes' October 7 & 8 at 6PM, with callbacks Ooctober 10 at 6PM in the theater.
The show will run November 30 through December 16, 2012.
'Fruitcakes' is a moving story of alienation, understanding and reconciliation.
Mix together a batch of special fruitcakes, 10,000 outdoor Christmas lights, a chicken pox epidemic, 2 southern spinsters, an angel on roller skates, an estranged old man, a lost cat named œTutti-Frutti and a Christmas hog named œBuster, and you've got a recipe for a fun filled and touching evening filled with holiday cheer.
Into this world comes a kid who has run away from home and come as far as his money will take him. At first he thinks this town's inhabitants are œnuttier than fruitcakes, but soon comes to admire, appreciate and adore this nutty little town.
Needed are 3 men, 3 women, 2 boys, 2 girls, plus both child and adult extras
