Selkie Theatre announces open auditions for its upcoming election year production of œOccupy Your Mind, a new piece by The Civilians, crafted from interviews, stories and songs from Occupy Wall Street.
œOccupy Your Mind auditions will be held from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, September 9 and from 7:00-9:00pm on Monday, September 10 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley, 424 Center St, Bethlehem, PA.
Selkie is looking for a wide range of age, type and both male and female actors.
No appointment or prepared piece is necessary; actors will be asked to read from a selection of the Occupy Wall Street interviews collected by The Civilians.
The Civilians are an award-winning New York-based theater company known for projects investigating real-life topics.
The Valley premiere of œOccupy Your Mind is directed by Selkie Artistic Director George B Miller.
œOccupy Your Mind will be presented at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 at 8:00pm. Seating is limited and reservations are strongly suggested. A reception with the artists will follow both performances.
