Munopco Music Theatre of Allentown concludes its 2018-2019 season with the stunning concept musical “A Chorus Line”.

The show will run March 16, 22, 23 at 8:00 p.m. and March 17, 24 at 2:00 p.m. and will be performed at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 1533 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA.

Centered on seventeen Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line, the musical is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theatre during an audition for a musical.

A Chorus Line provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers.chorus pix

With music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and the musical book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, “A Chorus Line” won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1976 as well as nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score.

The production is under the direction of Daniel Petrovich, with musical direction by Chris Hamm, and choreography by Ali Santos.

The cast features Seth Rohrbach as director Zach and Jennifer Dorn as his assistant, Laurie.

Vying for a spot in the chorus line are Grace Lingenfelter (Cassie), Clive Martin (Mike), Jordan Fidalgo (Sheila), Andrew Stewart (Richie), Melissa Dorflinger (Val), Brian Houp (Don), Ali Santos (Diana), Isaiah Headrington (Paul), Marissa Dibilio (Judy), Edwin Lopez (Mark), Shannon Cornish (Kristine), Ricardo Negron (Greg), Mariah Nagle (Maggie), Jaedon Muhl (Bobby), Mary Eitzenberger (Bebe), Gabriel Craig (Al), and Abigail Simon (Connie).

Rounding out the ensemble are additional dancers Lisa Suppan, Christine Ebert, Johnny Bertone, Austin Brzezicki, and Bethel Sucro.
