On December 15 at 7pm, Allentown Public Theatre goes off script with its monthly Theatre Cafe, for some spontaneous comedy with a holiday theme. The informal evening will be hosted by Hava Java coffee house (526 N. 19th St.) in Allentown.
Audience members might be asked to scribble holiday traditions or song titles on slips of paper – to serve as fodder for several impromptu two-minute scenes.
These short scenes will be interspersed with longer sketches, each riffing on a well-known Christmas tale in ways never seen before and never to be seen again.
