DCP Theatre will present the comedy "Mrs. California" August 18-28, 2022Aug 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27 at 8pm and Aug 21, 28 at 2pm.
Set in pre-womens lib 1955, Mrs. California is a peek into the past as homemakers vie for the title of the ideal woman “ a "happy, good, and beautiful homemaker."
Judged in categories such as ironing, sewing, and cooking, the competition is cutthroat and culminates when Dot, a finalist, follows her conscience instead of the rules.
