Theatrical Gems, voted Best Musical in Northeast Pennsylvania in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, continues its eighth season with 'Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)', presented for three performances December 13-15.
This show follows popular runs of The Secret Garden, She Loves Me, All Shook Up, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!), a madcap romp through the holiday season, occurs when, instead of performing Charles Dickens' beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to perform every Christmas story ever told -- plus share Christmas traditions from around the world, seasonal icons from ancient times to topical pop culture, and every carol ever sung.
The show has a book by Michael Carleton, James FitzGerald, and John K. Alvarez.
Performances of Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) will be at 8 PM on Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14, with a matinee performance at 2 PM on Sunday, December 15.
Performances are at Evergreen Community Charter School (905 East Grace Avenue in Cresco).
The show is directed by Gillian Turner and stars the hysterical trio of Sarah McCarroll, David Schappert, and Patrick Turner!
