Star of the Day Event Productions presents It Takes Two, a family-friendly NY Style Cabaret show filled with popular Broadway duets music from Guys & Dolls, Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Rent, and more,

Performers include Kirsten Rani Almeida of Hellertown, founder/owner of Star of the Day.

Rani has appeared on and off Broadway and toured all over the United States.

Locally, she has appeared as The Wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast at Civic Theatre of Allentown and Muzzy in Thoroughly Modern Millie at Pennsylvania Playhouse.

She recently appeared Off-Broadway and Philadelphia in Professor Von Awesome's Ghost Hunting Safari with Serious Theater Collective.

She will film her first sitcom in late February.

Wendy Borst is a local music teacher and an actress/singer in the Lehigh Valley.

Borst sings with the Bach Choir and has appeared onstage at PA Playhouse most recently in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Company.

Mike Daniels of Whitehall is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Bethlehem, and has been seen in many stage productions, commercials and film projects throughout the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia over the years.

Daniels is a regular vocalist with the Star of the Day Cabaret Series.

Nina Elias is the assistant online beauty editor for Prevention Magazine. She also fronts a local rock band as well as performs at a number of theaters in the Lehigh Valley.

Andrea Cartagena, of Easton, has been a professional singer/actress for more than twenty years.

Cartagena has toured the United States as well as performed regionally including PA Playhouse.

She made her Lehigh Valley directing debut with Allentown Public Theaters Poe: A Madman Knows Nothing.

Ashley Godshall, of Bethlehem, made her debut with Star of the Day in October.

Godshall can be seen and heard singing at Hotel Bethlehem.

She just portrayed the role of The Widow Corney at JCC of Allentowns production of Oliver.

Peter Sikalias, of Whitehall, is a graduate of Whitehall High School and is a professional actor/singer in the Lehigh Valley.

Sikalias recently performed his headliner cabaret at SteelStacks at ArtsQuest as well as performed in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at PA Playhouse.

He is a regular performer each summer at Dorney Parks Shake, Rattle & Roll.

Kate Pistone, of Bethlehem, is a graduate of NYU,

Pistone has recently returned to the Lehigh Valley and has quickly become an important part of the Valleys arts scene.

Brian McKay, of Philadelphia, is a radio personality and voice over artist for 92.5 XTU.

McKay has also been the national anthem vocalist for many of the local teams.

He has been an actor/singer for more than twenty years both in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia area.

Most recently, McKay played the Narrator in Into the Woods at Methacton Theatre in Collegeville, PA.

Nate Diehl, of Bethlehem, is a teacher at Moravian Academy.

Diehl also lends his piano talents to DeSales University and The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.

He has been musically directing select Star of the Day cabarets since 2011.

Star of the Day's Spotlight Cabaret Series, now in its 3rd season, will perform It Takes Two on Thursday, February 6, 2014 7PM Allentown Brew Works 2nd Floor High Gravity Lounge.

Doors open at 7PM and show begins promptly at 8PM.
