The story is based on the biblical Joseph of Genesis and his ‘coat of many colors’.

Recounted by the Narrator (Rebecca Pieper), Joseph chronicles a thrilling saga of deception, hope, and redemption through the use of an energetic and spellbinding score.Composed by Andrew Lloyd Weber (Cats, Phantom of the Opera, School of Rock), with Lyrics by Tim Rice (The Lion King, Aida), this duo takes you on a musical journey with catchy pop tunes and ballads through a range of styles, exemplifying the spark that kept their work strong through other hit shows like 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'Evita'.Directed and choreographed by Colette Boudreaux, with musical direction by Adam Conti, 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat 'opens at The Pennsylvania Playhouse on Friday, May 31st , and will be performed on May 31st, June 1st, June 7th and 8th, June 14th and 15th at 7:30PM and June 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 6pm.
