Fleetwood, PA, October 12, 2016 -- Fleetwood Community Theatre is presenting the comedy Love, Sex and The IR$, by Billy VanZandt and Jane Milmore starting October 20th through October 30th. This 8 character play, directed by Brian Miller, with all the great comedy elements: mistaken identity, a love triangle, and of course deception will take the stage in Kutztown at 201 E. Main St.

Jon and Leslie are two musicians living together but struggling to earn their keep. These guys are behind on rent payments and really need to save money. While doing their taxes, Jon (played by Brian Welsco) decides he can get them some money by listing he and his roommate as being married. A good plan until the IRS wants to audit their tax return. So, Jon talks Leslie (Sebastian Paff) into dressing up as a woman.

They enlist Kate (Victoria Scovens), Jon’s fiancé who is cheating on him with Leslie, to help. While trying to keep this all a secret from Kimberley Sudrez, who plays Connie, Leslie’s actual girlfriend,

Enter Floyd – the IRS Agent played by Jerry Brucker. As introductions are made Jon's mother (Judy Evans) shows up un-expectantly wanting to meet Jon's new wife!

We can’t forget the nosy landlord, Jansen, (Jonathan Kerbein) who complicates matters even more by reminding the guys that he doesn't allow the opposite sex to cohabitate in his apartments.

Total chaos erupts. Jon's plan is unraveling before him. He and Leslie and Kate keep dodging situations that almost spoil the plan: Connie arrives to reconcile with Leslie, but Leslie tells her he doesn't want to see her anymore. She is persistent and is thrown into hiding in the apartment to avoid the IRS and the Landlord. Mom wants a wedding to happen for her peace of mind. She finds a lay minister (played by Bob Barskey) brings him back to the apartment to perform the ceremony.

How are they going to get out of this' Guess you’ll have to come see it!
