After a fantastic run of "Mid-Life: The Crisis Musical" in our 2020 season, the Pines is excited to take a second dive into the "age old" conditions and situations faced in mid-life in "Mid-Life 2! #WhatDidIComeInHereFor'". From ever-increasing trips to the doctor's office, to the horrifying mo-ment when one qualifies for a senior discount, everyone will relate to this hilarious, and at times, touching musical about the curiosities and inevitabilities of middle-age. Three men and three women comprise the cast of this wacky musical sketch comedy; Kristofer Wills, Jennifer Wills, Amber Blatt, Amy Shea, James Ofalt and Michael Covel. This fantastic cast sings about everything from turning 50 and telling "punny" dad jokes, to learning about what's really in your medication in "Side Effects," coping with hot flashes and knee pain in "A Trip to the Doctor," nav-igating a secret shopping mission in "A Trip to the Drug Store," and even confessing your "love" for your cellphone, Siri and GPS in "The Love of My Life." Book, music and lyrics are written by Bob Wal-ton and Jim Walton. "Mid-Life 2! #What Did I Come in Here For'" plays at the Pines Dinner Theatre from Septem-ber 10, 2021 through October 24, 2021. Show times are select Wednesdays and Thursdays 12:30 p.m. dinner, 1:30 p.m. show, Fridays & Saturdays 6:30 p.m. dinner, 7:30 p.m. show, and Sundays 12:30 p.m. dinner and 1:30 p.m. show. Ticket prices for show admission are $30 for Adults, and $20 for Children (2-12) which includes a seat for the show, all taxes and box-office fees.
