Munopco Music Theatre of Allentown will open their 2018-2019 season with Lerner & Loewe’s classic musical Brigadoon, running September 21 through 29 at Scottish Rite Cathedral in Allentown, PA.
Lerner and Loewe’s Brigadoon is the enchanting and beloved Broadway and West End musical that inspired the classic MGM film, and numerous productions all over the world.
Featuring such standards as "Almost Like Being in Love," "Come to Me, Bend To Me," and "Heather on the Hill," Brigadoon is a timeless, romantic classic which vividly brings the mystery and magic of the Scottish highlands to life.
Brigadoon is under the direction of Rody Gilkeson, musical direction by Julius Sarkozy, with choreography by Joey Schubert.
The cast features Robert Clausnitzer as Tommy Albright, Elizabeth Marsh-Gilkeson as Fiona MacLaren, Brett Oliveira as Jeff Douglas, and Jessica Weber as Meg Brockie.
Also featured are Christian Clausnitzer as Charlie Dalrymple, Elizabeth Boehm as Jean MacLaren, Nikola Georgievski as Harry Beaton, and Robert Calder as Mr. Lundie.
Rounding out the cast are Brooke Brida, Fred Broadbent, Beth Clausnitzer, Danny Garcia, Carol Gehris, Richard Gunkle, Michael Hollingsworth, Bethe Hoppes, Stephanie Hughes, Deb Jacoby, Jeffrey Logan Keenhold, David Knoller, Mackenzie Lewis, Peter McKeon, David Moll, Jaedon Muhl, Tessa Seals, Linda Sherer, Lisa Suppan, Olivia Theisen, Tracy Weaver, Max Wetherhold, and Deven Windisch.
The show will run September 21, 22, 28, and 29 at 8:00 p.m. and September 23 at 2:00 p.m. and will be performed at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 1533 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA.
