Allentown, PA – The Pines Dinner Theatre, 448 N 17th Street, Allentown Pa will be presenting "Second Chances: The Thrift Shop Musical" April 5 through May 12, 2019.
You don't want to miss this touching and inspirational new musical comedy about the quirky characters who run The Second Chances Thrift Shop.
When the thrift shop is threatened to be sold by the greedy landlord, the team won't stand for it! Spend a year with the loveable, yet quirky, group and see how they band together to save the shop and discover it's not just old treasures that get a second chance.
You'll meet the hilarious lead clerk Wally (played by Dan Cake) who always brings sunshine to the day with humor, Joe (played by Don Hart) and Janet (played by Amy Shea) who work in the collection area who discover that you can find love later in life, the young mother and new shop manager Allison (played by Alessandra Fanelli) trying to start over and more!
The Pines is thrilled to be one of the first theatres to bring "Second Chances" to the stage! "Second Chances: The Thrift Shop Musical" is conceived and written by Tom Ross Prather with music and lyrics by Christopher Russell and Megan Russell with additional material by Victor Legarreta.
This tune-filled score boasts both well known favorites; "You're A Grand Old Flag," "O Holy Night," "Jingle Bells," as well as original compositions such as "One Man's Trash" and "Rise Back Up."
For dinner our guests will have the choice of Pan Seared Herb Glazed Pork Loin, Homestyle Pot Roast, or Striped Pangasius each served with seasonal vegetables and Smashed Potatoes, or Butternut Squash Ravioli in a brown butter sauce or Fettuccine Alfredo with Broccoli.
All entrees include salad, fresh baked bread, and family style apple crisp for dessert. Beverages and dessert upgrades are available for an additional charge.

"Second Chances: The Thrift Shop Musical" plays at The Pines Dinner Theatre from April 5 through May 12, 2019.
Matinee performances (12:30 p.m. dinner, 2 p.m. show) are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, evening performances (6:30 p.m. dinner, 8 p.m. show) are Fridays and Saturdays.
Ticket prices are $50 for adults, $35 for Students (10-16) and $20 for children ages 2-9. Ticket prices include dinner, show, ticket fees and tax. Beverages and gratuity are not included.
