The Pines Dinner Theatre, 448 N 17th St, Allentown, announces the world premier of Here Comes the Bride playing January 17 through March 9, 2014.

Here Comes the Bride follows the adventures of Abigail Winthorpe, a bright-eyed optimist who gets her first job as a romance columnist at the Weekly Bugle in Birdseye, Indiana.Here Comes the Bride Logo compressed

When Abigail gets this job she has everything shes ever wanted in life, except for one very important thing: true love.

Here Comes the Bride has the book and lyrics by Oliver Blatt, the creator of the award winning productions The Book of Love, and The Miracle of Christmas.

The music was written by Oliver Blatt and Stacy Bechtel. This original musical comedy includes an original score of fourteen songs.

Here Comes the Bride stars Annie Locke as Abigail Winthorpe, Shawn Patrick Fletcher as Howie Norwood, Brian Vigorito as Arthur P. Snodgrass, Gwen Swanson Vigorito as Margaret "Jonesy" Jones, and Jerry Brucker as Henry Barnes.

Once the theatre opens, patrons are served dinner prepared by Chef William Zettlemoyer and his staff. Dinner always includes a garden salad, fresh baked corn bread and rolls, beverage service of iced tea, water and coffee, along with a choice of entrée and dessert.

Patrons also have the opportunity to purchase specialty drinks before the show and at intermission.

Here Comes the Bride plays at the Pines Dinner Theatre January 17 through March 9, 2014.

Evening performances are Friday and Saturday, afternoon performances are Thursday, and Sunday.

Ticket prices are $48.50 for adults, $47.50 for seniors (60+), and $20.00 for children under the age of 12.

Ticket prices include dinner, beverages during dinner, the show, and tax. Gratuity is not included.
