Auditions will be held for "The Spiritualist", a new melodrama produced by Crowded Kitchen Players and to be performed June 2-5, 9-12, and 16-19, 2022 at The Charles A. Brown IceHouse in Bethlehem, PA.
Set in London near the end of The Great War and in the heart of the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918 which together killed more than 70 million people world-wide, "The Spiritualist" follows a retired military officer in desperate need of restoration following the deaths of his wife and three young children, and a woman whose embrace of science insists that she debunk the claims and so-called miracles of the Spiritualism movement that is spreading across England and the United States at that point in history.
Needed are actors 21 and older featured roles and to play various sitters and participants at the two seances around which the shows action takes place.
Auditions will be by cold readings from the script Wednesday April 20 from 700-930 PM at 1680 Minesite Road, Allentown, PA.
