DCP announces auditions for "Savannah Sipping Society" will be held virtually (via Zoom).
To participate, please complete the Audition form and email it to the Director and select a date from the Sign Up Genius link below.
You will be sent a Zoom link for your audition slot within a few weeks of auditions along with the required sides.
Callbacks will be held in-person at DCP Theatre (date TBD).
Brought to you by the authors of "The Dixie Swim Club," this hilarious comedy brings together four women who meet during Happy Hour.
You will laugh (and perhaps get a little misty-eyed) with Randa, Dot, Marlafaye, and Jinx (the life coach who is determined to help her new friends conquer their trials and tribulations). Over the course of the play, these women commiserate, support each other, and learn to laugh again “ despite life's challenges.
Characters
Randa Covington - Age 49. High-strung perfectionist, workaholic, stylish who just lost her successful architect career. Single.
Dot Haigler - Age 69. Daffy, endearing, wears glasses, dresses colorfully and hip. Widow, Retired High School French Teacher.
Marlafaye Mosley - Age 57. Earthy, boisterous, good ol' Texas gal. Divorced.
Jinx Jenkins - Age 53. Energetic, self confident, and gregarious, dresses in low cut shirts and short skirts. Loves bourbon. Life coach and beauty consultant.
