Star of the Day Event Productions presents INTO THE WORDS - fast-paced and words words words!- a NY Style Cabaret show filled with popular Broadway tunes that will test the singers stamina and the audience's ears and all performed by Lehigh Valleys finest vocalists.
Marissa Brewer - of NAZARETH - is a freshman Musical Theatre major at DeSales University. She has been performing since a very young age and has loved singing for as long as she can remember. Her performing career really took off once she started her freshman year at Bethlehem Catholic High School where she featured in many of their shows. She has been singing with Star of the Day for a little over a year now and was 2013's Senior Champion in the annual Raise Your Voice Scholarship Competition. Marissa made her debut at DeSales University this past fall in Rodgers and Hart: A Celebration! Outside the theatre, Marissa found a love for photography and is also working on expanding her career as a photographer.
Kate Pistone - of ALLENTOWN - is a graduate of Parkland High School, New York University and Atlantic Acting School. Favorite roles include Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Drood in The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Madame in The Maids. She has performed at Dont Tell Mama and The Duplex in NYC.
Vince Rostkowski - OF BETHLEHEM - is a local singer/actor/director who has appeared on stage with PA Playhouse, Third Mask, and more. Vince directs the high school musicals for Saucon Valley High School. He has been singing with Star of the Day since June 2012.
Peter Sikalias - of Whitehall. Peter is a graduate of Whitehall High School and is a professional actor/singer in the Lehigh Valley. Peter recently performed his headliner cabaret at SteelStacks at ArtsQuest as well as performed in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at PA Playhouse. Peter is a regular performer each summer at Dorney Parks Shake, Rattle & Roll.
Kimberly Tassinaro - OF ALLENTOWN - teaches Biology, Ecology, and Bioethics at Saucon Valley High School. She is lucky to also have the opportunity to pursue her other interests. She dances at Coral Nolans Academy of Dance in Emmaus, horseback rides and competes for Z and R Farm in Pittstown, NJ and assistant coaches the Allen HS Allegro Dance Team. Kim continues to be active in local theatre.
Favorite roles include: Catherine in Pippin (Insomniak), Ensemble/Dance Captain in Jekyll and Hyde (Theatrical Gems), Miss Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie (Pa Playhouse), Frenchie in Cabaret (Civic), Jenny in Company (Pa Playhouse), and Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Show (Civic). Kim would like to thank the amazing people that continue to believe in her.
