Allentown, Pa. – The Pines Dinner Theatre, 448 N 17th St, Allentown, will be saluting the Golden Age of Movies with "Puttin' On The Ritz" playing May 26 through July 2, 2017.
Pines Dinner Theatre welcomes audiences in grand style in their brand new music review "Puttin' On The Ritz." Featuring all of the songs and dances synonymous with classic films, this show will delight all ages as it showcases and celebrates the golden ages of movies! "Puttin' On The Ritz" explores the silver screen with everything from silent films and Charlie Chaplin, the songs that made us fall in love, the great movies stars such as Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers as they danced their way into our hearts, a celebration of the great patriotic songs that embraced America in the early 1920s, "Puttin' On The Ritz" as well as and many, many more.
Puttin' On The Ritz, is written by and under the direction of long-time Artistic Director and Co-Producer of the Pines, Oliver Blatt, and Musical Direction of Stacy Bechtel. This exciting revue stars the talents of Monica Handwerk, Dante Hill, Taylor Hopkins and Katherine Tabisz. Jam-packed with over 40 tunes, "Puttin On The Ritz" will delight audiences with beautiful four-part harmonies, gorgeous solos, fantastic tap numbers as well as a live band on stage.
The Pines Dinner Theatre is also honoring all service men and women, both veterans and currently serving with a free ticket for dinner and show for a performance of "Puttin' On The Ritz." Tickets are available for all performances taking place May 26 through 28, and June 28 through July 2, 2017. Any member of the armed forces with military ID, are eligible for a free dinner and show ticket. Tickets may be claimed by calling our box-office and making a reservation.
Our guests will have the choice of Herb Grilled Boneless Chicken Breast, Teriyaki Marinated Beef Skewers or Striped Pangasius each served with seasonal vegetable and rosemary roasted potatoes, or Mushroom Ravioli in a garlic butter sauce or Fettuccine Alfredo with steamed broccoli. All entrees include a garden salad, fresh baked bread, family style apple crisp and ice cream, as well as iced-tea, coffee or hot tea.
Puttin' On The Ritz plays at the Pines Dinner Theatre May 26 through July 2, 2017. Evening performances (6:30 p.m. dinner, 8:00 p.m. show) are Friday and Saturday, afternoon performances (12:30 p.m. dinner, 2:00 p.m. show) are Thursday, and Sunday. Ticket prices are $50 for adults, $49 for seniors (60+), $35.00 for Students (10-16) and $20.00 for children ages 2-9. Ticket prices include dinner, beverages during dinner, the show, and tax. Gratuity is not included.
