Players of the Stage is proud to present John Patrick Shanley’s Doubt. This award winning play wrestles with how one can be certain as we watch two nuns work to uncover the truth about a Priest’s guilt or innocence.
The cast is made up of Brian Wendt playing Father Flynn, Betsy Gahmen playing Sister James, and Florence Taylor playing Mrs. Muller. The director, Marian Barshinger, has stepped in as Sister Aloysius, due to the original actor unfortunately not being able to perform.
Doubt is being performed at Relevant Church at 1080 Flexer Avenue, Allentown PA. Shows are June 22nd, 23rd and 24th at 7 PM and the 24th at 2 PM. The tickets are free but reservations are recommended.
Players of the Stage is excited to be able to perform Doubt as a fundraising for the Truth Home, a safe house for victims of sex-trafficking. The home is run by Truth for Women and provides the women with emotional, physical, psychological, educational, vocational, and spiritual care and support. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support their work.
