A new tradition begins this holiday season with Handel’s Messiah being performed at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort!
Presented for the 38th year, this community favorite will be performed in a larger space to more easily accommodate the large number of attendees in comfort.
Traditionally presented at the Shawnee Playhouse, over the years people who previously enjoyed the Messiah have returned with their families and friends causing seating to reach capacity. 
To allow for more people to celebrate this beautiful piece, the Kirkwood Family has moved the holiday favorite to the historic Shawnee Inn.

This famous piece is led by a local conductor and concert master and includes soloists and orchestra, and is a gift to the community from the Kirkwood Family. Join in the singing or just sit back and enjoy this Shawnee Holiday Tradition presented for the 38th year!

No advance ticket purchase is necessary and seats are first come, first serve. Donations will be gratefully accepted at the door.
