Join The Pennsylvania Playhouse at the crossroads of love, loss, and revenge when the deliciously thrilling production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street takes center stage October 6th, 2023. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler, Sweeney Todd dares the audience to face the reality of the brutal disregard for the humanity of others.

A current smash hit on Broadway, Sweeney Todd follows the journey of an exiled barber who returns to a dark and gritty London 15 years later, hungry for vengeance against the Judge who destroyed his life.

Joined by Mrs. Lovett, the unhinged proprietress of a failing pie shop, the two concoct a spine-tingling plot to exact revenge.

While a haunting troupe of actors guides the audience through the story, this immersive production will compel theatre goers to stare directly into the eyes of the Beggar Woman, as she fights to protect and live - an experiencenot to be missed.

In an effort to highlight the immense talent in the Lehigh Valley, and ensure performances go on

as scheduled, there are eight actors covering lead roles. These actors will be performing their

respective roles on Saturday, October 14th at 7:30pm. The cast of Sweeney Todd features Nick

Conti (Sweeney Todd), Gregory Wintle (Sweeney Todd Cover), Beth Linzer (Mrs. Lovett), Moriah Wilt (Mrs. Lovett Cover), Dylan Penyak (Tobias Ragg), Ava Sardi (Tobias Ragg Cover), Robert Trexler (Judge Turpin), Matthew Asti (Judge Turpin Cover), Sean McFarland (Beadle Bamford), Robert Torres (Beadle Bamford Cover), Grace Oddo (Johanna), Carina Cohen (Johanna Cover), Jonathan Riker (Anthony Hope), Mason McGowan (Adolpho Pirelli), Marquett Ferrell (Adolpho Pirelli Cover), Alexis Connolly (Beggar Woman), and Megan Amorino (Beggar Woman Cover).

Rounding out the cast is Harrison Fox, Maya Costanzo, Dylan Miller, Lindsey Sommons,

Suzanna Durner, Joey Leyrer, Elliot Mercedes, Laura Sweeney Riker, Mackenzie Hall, Relena

Kiser, Wendy Borst, Samantha Prentice, Bethany Wentling, and Mitchell Hendricks.


and choreographed by Darah Donaher, under the Music Direction of Alex Garrido, and Stage

Management of Corinne Philbin.

The production team also consists of Assistant Director Katelyn Morgan, and Assistant Stage Manager Kayla Rosado.

Set/Technical Design by Brett Oliveira and Costumes by Todd Burkel and Heather Sheldon.

Sweeney Todd runs October 6th through October 22nd, 2023.

Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 3:00 PM.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and $15 for students with valid school ID.

There are two special performances! October 14th at 7:30pm will be the Cover Cast performance.

October 21st will be a special performance fundraising event for Rotary District 7430 Rotaplast Program.

All 10/21 7:30 PM performance tickets are $49 and include complimentary beverages and food. This show will also offer a cast talkback after the conclusion of the performance.
