Pennsylvania Playhouse through special arrangement with Samuel French, INC. will present William VanZandt and Jane Milmores classic farce, "LOVE, SEX, & THE I.R.S." March 27 through April 12, 2015.

According to the Playhouse release:

The story goes something like this. Jon and Leslie are out of work musicians and roomates in late 1970s New York City. Both are unwittingly dating the same girl and both are struggling to meet rent “ three months late. When it is discovered that Jon has been listing the two as a married couple on their taxes for years, the I.R.S. drops by to investigate why Leslies sex has changed from male to female. With little to no time at all, the boys must do everything they can to convince the government that Leslie is a female and that the two are a happily married couple.

Playhouse regulars Brian Welsko and Sebastian Paff lead the cast as Jon and Leslie, with Arlene Fox making her debut as Kate, the girl both guys are seeing. Steven Schmid, last seen this season in The Foreigner, plays Jansen, the ill-mannered landlord while Pennsylvania Playhouse Board Member and stage veteran Jerry Brucker plays Floyd Spinner, the I.R.S. Agent. Jen Santos, straight from The Associated Mess Improv Troupe, will play Vivian, Jons mother whose unexpected visit only adds more confusion to the investigation. Dropping by to make matters worse, Samantha Strickler as Connie, Leslies neurotic other woman and Dara Connelly as Grunion, a mysterious drifter with a special skill. With characters like these, who knows how Jon and Leslies investigation will turn out'

Director Charles Weigolds creative team includes SJ Pierce as Stage Manager, Shawn Kerbein as Costume Designer, and Brett Oliveira as Scenic and Lighting Designer.
