Torchlight Players, a new Lehigh Valley theater company, will present Neil LaBute's off-Broadway play "Some Girl(s)" May 26-28 and June 3-4 at Unicorn Theatre in Catasauqua.

In the dramatic comedy, a man is about to get married and decides to make a visit to his ex-girlfriends, all of whom he has treated poorly.

Brian Welsko plays the protaganist Guy, a writer who is engaged to be married.

His exes whom he visits one by one are Sam, his former high school sweetheart (Nicole Anderson); Tyler, his college flame (Jade Neff); Lindsay, a college professor from Boston and his mentor whom he met during his first year as a graduate school professor (Stacey Ziegler); Reggie, his best friend's sister (Ash Miller) and Bobbi, who he met in college and with whom he could have ended up (Hannah Arnold).LaBute compressed

Anderson also directs.

LaBute wrote the play in 2005 and it premiered off-Broadway in 2006. It was made into a film starring Adam Brody, Emily Watson and Kristen Bell in 2013. LaBute is best known for the award-winning black comedy "In The Company of Me," which also was made into a film.

The show is assistant directed by Rachel Williams and stage managed by Mikaela Barthol. Assistant stage manager is Erin Stevens; sound design is by Jonathan Fehnel and assstanted technial director is Alex Meck.

Torchlight Players' first production was Sam Bobrick's "Getting Sara Married" presented in February.

Performances are 8 p.m. May 26, May 27 and June 3; and 3 p.m. May 28 and June 4 at Unicorn Theatre, 417 Front St., Catasauqua.
