What do you get when you mix catchy songs, lively dances, snappy dialogue, loveable characters and a dash of romance? Of course, PA Playhouses fall production, 'Curtains.'


      This 2007 Tony Award winning Broadway hit, with a book by Rupert Holmes, music by Fred Ebb and lyrics by John Kander, has been called a œhappy throwback to traditional musical comedy.
      Its the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Bostons Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage the entire cast & crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical theatre fan!

The Playhouses production is being directed by Vince Rostkowski with choreography by Mariel Letourneau and will run from October 5 - 21, 2012. Come to the Playhouse in October for what should be a fun-filled night of romance, song and dance all held together with a dash of murder.
