Crowded Kitchen Players will hold auditions for its new Holiday production, "Noelle", a dark Christmas comedy, October 6 from 700-830 PM in the Kitchen, 1680 Minesite Road, Allentown, PA.
"Noelle" will be presented December 15-19, 2021 at The Charles A. Brown IceHouse in Bethlehem, PA
Noelle tells the story of an elderly woman beginning to experience a steep mental and physical decline who, at the Christmas Eve gathering she has hosted for more than sixty years, is confronted by family and friends insisting that she leave her beloved home and move into assisted living¦ imminently!
Her only hope rests in the hands of a shady priest, an addled physician, and a terrifying but disarming uninvited guest.
Needed are six men and six women of adult years and that come in all sizes, shapes, races, ethnicities, politics, and personal preferences.
There will be cold readings from the script.
Rehearsals for "Noelle" will begin in mid-October in Allentown, PA.
"Noelle" is Crowded Kitchen Players 89thproduction since 2000.
They have produced critically acclaimed dramas and comedies such as A Softening of Her Eye, Twelveness, Unspeakable, Dogcatcher, and Corner Booth at Mauch Chunk Opera House, Theatre Outlet, McCooles Arts and Events Place, Touchstone Theater, and many more regional venues.
