Town and Country Players One-Act Play Festival is holding auditions Thursday, April 23rd 7:00 “ 9:30pm and Saturday, April 25th 11:00am-2:00pm at Town and Country Players Theatre 4158 York Road Buckingham, PA 18912.
Please arrive at 7:00pm or 11:00am and be prepared to stay the entire time. Please come prepared for a cold reading. Some shows contain adult language.
Remember that the ages of the characters are not necessarily the ages of the actors.

FOR WHOM THE SOUTHERN BELL TOLLSBy Christopher Durang.Directed by Lorie BaldwinThis is a hilarious half hour spoof of "The Glass Menagerie". The piece is for adults and contains some strong language.
Characters:AMANDA WINGFIELD: Female 40s or over -- the aging Southern Belle who is annoyed with her grown children.GINNY: Female 20s/30s -- the 'female caller' at the Wingfield house---a real tomboy and yells a lot because she takes public speaking coursesLAWRENCE: Male 30s, 40s --son of AMANDA sensitive guy with social anxiety and a collection of glass cocktail stirrers.TOM WINGFIELD: male 30s/40s -- the mysterious older brother of Lawrence and son of Amanda; works with Ginny at the warehouse. DUNELAWNA One-Act play from Terrance McNallys "Bad Habits".Bad Habits consists of two One-Act plays that played on Broadway in 1974, and again in 1990. This is about an upscale, expensive retreat for the unhappily married, where a wheel-chaired director, Dr. Jason Pepper, dispenses a unique sort of marital guidance. His theory includes complete indulgence in such "bad habits" as smoking, drinking and sexual promiscuity “ which seems to work wonders for his patients, whose wacky case histories are each examined in hilarious detail.
