Crowded Kitchen Players of Allentown will hold auditions for Walter Mosley's “The Fall of Heaven” at 7pm Monday, August 10th and Wednesday, August 12th at the 'Kitchen' 1680 Minesite Road, Allentown PA.
Parking is available one-half block East on Chatter Way.
Tempest Landry, a street-wise young man living in Harlem, unexpectedly finds himself at the Pearly Gates. When Saint Peter orders him to hell, the quick-witted Tempest refuses to go.
A technical loophole forces heaven to send Tempest back to Earth with an angel in tow to keep him out of trouble. The resulting battle of wills takes an intriguing look at good versus evil and what it means to be human.
Needed are 3 men (2 African American; 1 white) ages18-65, 2 women (2 African American) ages 18-65.
Auditions will be cold-readings from the script.
Rehearsals are scheduled for Sunday afternoons and Monday-Wednesday-Friday evenings.
Performances for “The Fall of Heaven” will be November 7-15, 2015 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Bethlehem PA.
Also needed are a stage manager and box office help.
