Between the Lines Studio Theatre will hold auditions for a new Christmas play, “Christmas Eve in the Dunk Tank”, written and directed by long-time Lehigh Valley producer/writer/director/actor Genia Miller.
Auditions will be held at BTL on June 28 at 400PM and June 29 at 700PM in the theater at 725 N. 15th Street, Allentown, PA 18102.
Performances will be Nov. 27 & 28 and Dec 4 & 5 @ 7:30PM and Nov 29 and Dec 6 @ 200PM
Sides from the script will be provided. Head shots are welcomed, but not required.
SYNOPSIS: Trapped by a blizzard, the Taylor family's holiday turns into a high-stakes "dunk tank" of clashing values.
When unexpected guests arrive, and Libby drops a bombshell confession, the night spirals into a hilarious, heartfelt struggle for survival.
This sharp-witted dramedy proves that acceptance is the only way through the storm.

Genia Miller is the founding Artistic Director of two non-mainstream theater companies in the Lehigh Valley: Theatre Outlet and Innisfree Productions. Her acting and directing resume includes work in amateur, university, and professional theatres, and The History Channel's In Search of History: The True Story of the Molly Maguires. Miller’s play Spirit of the Molly Maguires has been produced in several theaters and is published in Anthracite: an Anthology of Pennsylvania Coal Region Plays. Recently, Miller’s play “Back Talk” was selected for two upcoming national short play festivals.
