Crowded Kitchen Players will be holding auditions for their fall production, the latest entry in the 'Voices of Conscience: Toward Racial Understanding' series they co-founded with Allentown Public Theatre and Mock Turtle Marionettes in 2015.
The production will be 'Pale Riders of the Tapioca', an original farce by Ara Barlieb.
Audtions will be held Monday July 25 and Wednesday July 27 in The Kitchen, 1680 Minesite Road, Allentown, PA at 7PM.
Actors will read from the script. Prepared monologues are unnecessary.
In the play, nursing home residents are recruited by white supremacists as part of a desperate plot to overthrow the U.S. government.
The play is constructed from interviews with leaders of the KKK and is based on actual recent events.
Needed are five men and five women of any and all backgrounds, ages 21 years and older.
'Pale Riders of the Tapioca' will be performed October 7 9 / 14 15 16/21 upstairs in The IceHouse.
