Selkie is back with the popular Bo Leictreach GreenPlay Festival, a celebration of new, 10-minute eco/green plays by Irish playwrights!

Their release reads:web bo

"We've created just over an hour of darkly funny, smart, sexy readings, accompanied by live Celtic music from Rick Weaver ("Piper's Request"), and a Meet The Artists Reception following every show.

We call it Bo Leictreach (Gaelic for "Electric Cow") after the Irish festival we co-produced where these plays debuted.

These intimate staged readings await you throughout Anam Cara farm, our home/venue. You'll travel from inside the historic 1794 stone farmhouse, to the bucolic grounds outside, ending with a candle-lit reading in the farmhouse!

"The new Irish plays in Bo are an unexpected plaeasure," says Selkie Director George B Miller, "a wild mix of satire, humor, compassion and smarts."

Directors are: George B Miller, Pat Kelly, Jack Armstrong & Ginny Wilson.

Acting Ensemble: John Corl, Kevin Deely, Pat Kelly, Jeanie Olah, George B. Miller, Marcy Hake Repp, Laura Riker, Thomas Rush, Peter Sanchez, Kate Scuffle, Jim Vivian & Brian Welsko. Production Associate: Virginia Wiles.
