For two weekends only The Shawnee Playhouse will be presenting the play ART, by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton. The show will run May 20 to May 29. Prior to Saturday evening performances on May 21 and 28, patrons can enjoy a complimentary Shawnee Craft beer or wine sample!

After years of spending time on both coasts performing on both stage, notably in David Rabe's Hurly Burly, and screen, in memorable roles on Sex and The City, Body of Proof and Law and Order – Josh Burrow settled in New York where he starred in several high profile advertising campaigns.
Josh's performance as the troubled banker Thomas Caine, in the feature film The Crimson Mask won him numerous accolades from festivals across the world including a Best Lead Actor Award from the American International film festival
You can currently see Josh as Captain Morgan in Oscar winning director Tom Hooper's Captain Morgan: To Life, Love and Loot.
Michael Hogan is a Shawnee Playhouse alumnus, having been in Mousetrap as Detective Trotter, directed by Michael Harron. He has been seen in the World Premiere/ NYC Premiere of Kandahar , in NYC in Extinction, Welcome to Arroy’s, Much Ado About Nothing, Last Day, Welcome Home Rock Rogers and regionally in A Man’s a Man, Biloxi Blues, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. TV and Film credits include Hank Boyd is Dead, Kensho at the Bedfellow, I Don’t Know How She Does It, Staten Island, Coffee and Cigarettes, Rosewood, Chicago P.D., The Kill Point, The Sopranos, Psych, and Law and Order C.I.
Jon Kirkwood is thrilled to be back on stage at Shawnee. He has previously been seen as Pippin in Pippin, and most recently as Kipps in The Woman in Black.
Jon founded the band Boken, an eclectic and exciting rock band with sets of original tunes sprinkled with covers, in Japan in 2008, and The jon kirkwood band in Beijing in 2011. He was in Guiding Light numerous times in the nineties and has done commercials for Pepsi, Killian's Red, and Toyota.
Recently, Jon has been playing guitar and singing in the band SchmidtWood Flow, next playing at Sarah St. Grill on July 23.
