Between the Lines Studio Theatre is thrilled to announce its premiere production for the 2018/2019 season, the Pulitzer Prize winning “Lost in Yonkers,” written by Neil Simon and directed by Eric D. Hersh.
“Lost in Yonkers” weaves a beautiful tale about family, love, and what brings us together.
The cast features Gabe Gonzalez as Jay, Tommy Potts as Arty, Kathy Patterson as Grandma Kurnitz, Rachel Van Dyke as Gert, Ryan MacNamera as Louie, Rachel Williams as Bella, and Brian Wendt as Eddie.
In this coming of age story, set in Yonkers in 1942, Jay and Arty’s lives are turned upside down when their father drops them off to live with their grandmother.

Grandma Kurnitz is a stern, opinionated, woman who is very set in her ways.
She shares her home with her child-like daughter Bella and her small time mobster son, Louie. The boys are left to contend with Grandma’s strict rules, Bella’s secret romance, and Louie’s mobster friends.
“Lost in Yonkers” opens on Friday, September 7th at 7:30pm and is hosted by The Macungie Institute, 510 East Main St, Macungie, PA 18062.
Five additional performances will follow: Saturday, September 8th at 7:30 pm; Sunday, September 9th at 3 pm; Friday, September 14th at 7:30 pm; Saturday, September 15th at 7:30 pm; and the final performance Sunday, September 16th at 3:00 pm.
Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for student and seniors. Tickets are general admission.
