Crowded Kitchen Players opens its 26th season with a terrifyingly entertaining murder mystery about the joys and horrors of life’s greatest challenge--- trying to survive getting old.

Death by Lullaby” will run October 11 through October 26 at The Charles A. Brown Ice House in Bethlehem.

When the newly arrived Mrs. Tigert awakens in the middle of the night, screaming,

“I don’t know where I am or how I got here,” fellow residents and the staff of Wheatland Retirement Community descend upon her room, offering their sympathy--- and their indignation---   respectively.

In the ensuing hours and days, as Tigert gradually begins to adust to her unfamiliar surroundings and the people who roam its halls, she soon becomes aware that Wheatland’s colorful brochure omits any hint of a darker and more restrictive environment behind its reputation for loving care and respite.

And when her newly gained “old” friends begin dying off in quick succession from “natural causes”, she quickly begins to suspect their deaths may not be as “natural” as she is told.

“Death by Lullaby” features long-time Crowded Kitchen players Trish Cipoletti, David "Oz" Oswald, Pamela Wallace, Sharon Ferry, Bruce Brown, Dawn Daignault, and Phuong Tran and proudly welcomes newcomers Dan.Ross, Robert Torres, and Aidan King.

The play is wriiten and directed by Ara Barlieb
