Selkie & The IceHouse Tonight present COLETTE RELOADED, Celeste Walker's provocative new solo show, directed by Marshall Mays, with score by composer Dan Shore.
COLETTE RELOADED is the story of a 60-year-old woman's examination of her life - a life filled with loves, losses, violence, dreams, obstacles & questionable choices.
Why is she still trying to battle 40-year-old demons'
Is her "evil twin" Colette really evil'
Is she the embodiment of her wrong turns - or of the strength that allows a woman to face her fears, take risks and learn from all that she has experienced'
COLETTE RELOADED had it's successful premiere at the 2016 Philly Fringe Festival.
But COLETTE at the IceHouse marks a very special Lehigh Valley reunion for the artists. Mays was a member of the PA Stage Co Resident Acting Company, as well as a resident director with the Theatre Outlet, and he directed Celeste in RECKLESS and in FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE at Theatre Outlet, as well as in the premiere of Liz Bartucci's THE CALLING at NYC's Kaleidoscope Theatre.
Walker worked, taught and performed with the PA Stage Company, Stage Door Workshop, and Theatre Outlet, among others, before leaving to attend The Actor's Studio/New School in NYC.
Renowned composer Dan Shore is an Allen High grad and Stage Door Workshop alumnus.
COLETTE RELOADED is in town for 2 nights only - Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22 at 8pm, upstairs at Bethlehem's IceHouse.
