"Dear Touchstone Patrons,Were sad to announce that due to a cast members recent positive COVID test, we are canceling this weekends shows “ Thursday, December 9th through Sunday, December, 12th. The cast member in question is currently recovering at home; the rest of the cast and crew are doing fine, and all are monitoring for any developing symptoms.
All patrons who purchased tickets for this weekend (12/9-12/12) will be contacted today for an exchange or refund. We recognize that this is frustrating news and that people whove already purchased tickets for closing weekend (12/16-12/19) may be concerned. Please contact us if youd like a refund for your tickets.Thank you all for your patience as we cautiously move forward following guidance from the CDC, our local doctors, and general precautionary measures. In preparation for welcomingFolliesaudiences back into our theatre, we took a number of safety measures: a fully-vaccinated cast and crew; mask wearing for crew and audience; not seating the first row; and a newly installed air exchange system, which circulates in fresh air from outside as it removes old air from the theatre. We undertook these precautions in a serious effort to minimize the risk to our patrons and ourselves in case of a confirmed positive in the building, in accordance with scientific recommendations that will help mitigate the danger of close contact. Were disappointed to have to cancel this weekends performances but anticipate being able to safely continue our run for its final weekend, so that we can celebrate the holiday together. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for further updates. In the meantime, we ask that everyone take this as a reminder that we are still in a pandemic, and we encourage you to exercise caution and respect health and wellness measures that keep our communities and families safe! With gratitude,The Touchstone Ensemble"
