Selkie Theatre at Anam Cara Farm plays host to a very special performance this holiday weekend, as George B Miller returns with his critically acclaimed performance as Mark Twain in MARK TWAIN: A Thanksgiving Visit on Saturday, November 29 at 7pm and Sunday, November 30 at 3pm.
It is 1905, and Americas beloved storyteller and satirist Mark Twain is wrapping up his wildly popular lecture tour with a stop at the historic Anam Cara farmhouse, where he will hold court by the fireplace in this intimate parlor performance.
Wickedly irreverent, wildly funny, and bitingly satirical, Millers Twain shares his own adventures and takes on everything from religion, war, and pompous politicians, to Americans abroad and the wisdom of Huck Finn.
Afterwards, guests are invited to join Mr. Twain for a candle-lit Holiday Reception. A birthday cake will grace the afternoon reception on Sunday, November 30 as Twain celebrates his 179th birthday, before heading out to join the Lehigh Valley Christmas Concert at Miller Symphony Hall as a special Guest Host.
Reviewing Miller as Twain, the Philadelphia Inquirer said "¦the actor, George Miller, disappears, and we accept that we are in the presence of Mark Twain. Theres magic for you! It happens right there in the theatre, when Miller steps on stage."
The Bethlehem Globe-Times: "The Best One-Man Show Award goes to George Miller. He became Mark Twain¦and mesmerized his audience with flawless timing, style and professionalism."

His Mark Twain “ On Tour has been a favorite of universities including Bar, Princeton, Rutgers, Lehigh University, Lafayette College, New York University, Temple, and Villanova.
