This Tony-winner from the pens of Stephen Sondheim (music and lyrics) and John Weidman (book) combines Sondheim's signature blend of intelligently stunning lyrics and beautiful music with a panoramic story of our nation's culture of celebrity and the violent means some will use to obtain it. Bold, original, disturbing and alarmingly funny, Assassins, it has been said, is perhaps the most controversial musical ever written.
The cast includes Crede Cooper as The Balladeer, and Max Wetherhold, Josh Crowley, Michael Sheridan, Connor Sternberg, Daniel Sottile, Samantha Prentice, Katelyn Morgan, Josh Raub and Cade Kocher as the four successful assassins and five would-be assassins.
The rest of the ensemble cast includes Justin Ferguson, Melisa Munroe, Griffin Boyle, Andy Van Antwerp, Buster Page, Kevin Gaughenbaugh, Isaiah Elleby, Taahira Muhammad, Kaitlin Kolonia, Kennedy Williams, Anna Soldano, Lydia Walker and Asher Cooper.
