The Pennsylvania Playhouse is thrilled to announce our fall 2021 production of the Tony Award winning "A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder!"
When the low-born Monty Navarro finds out that he's eighth in line for an earldom in the lofty D'Ysquith family, he figures his chances of outliving his predecessors are slight and sets off down a far more ghoulish path.
Can he knock off his unsuspecting relatives without being caught and become the ninth Earl of Highhurst' And what of love' Because murder isn't the only thing on Monty's mind.
With an award winning book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak, the is an entertaining and witty musical romp that the New York Times called "ingenious" and "among the most inspired and entertaining new musicals."
Directed by Rody Gilkeson with musical direction by Nancy Shumaker, the production crew includes choreographer Meghan Viscomi, costumer Todd Burkel and stage manager Cheryl Miller.
"A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder" runs Friday through Sunday, October 8 through 24 (Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM).
