Allentown, Pa. – The Pines Dinner Theatre, 448 N 17th St, Allentown, will be presenting Love is a Many Splintered Thing February 9 through March 25, 2018.

The Pines kicks off its 2018 season by singing about love in the Lehigh Valley premier of Love is a Many Splintered Thing. Love is a Many Splintered Thing is a fast paced, zippy musical about – what else' – relationships, looked at through nostalgic Top-40 hits: be careful, you might get "Hooked on a Feeling" and wonder "Should I Do It'' with friends saying "Don't Fall in Love With a Dreamer" because he's a "Wonderer," all the way through "Wedding Bell Blues." When love dies, "You Don't Bring Me Flowers,' to renewal "You Make My Dreams come True."

This musical written by Dorthy Marcic, with music arrangements by Hinton Battle, follows Bill, Yale, Sean, Desiree Sue, Roberta and Hope as they attend their high school prom and navigate life and love throughout the years to come. This tune-packed love story in song, under the direction of Oliver Blatt and musical direction of Stacy Bechtel, features the talents of Patrick Davis as "Bill," Ken Quiricone as "Yale," Kyle A. Jack as "Sean," Meg Stefanowicz as "Desiree Sue," Ashley Perkins as "Roberta" and Lisa Sims as "Hope." You will be singing along from start to finish with a great mix of hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's!Splendor

In addition to our regularly schedule performances, the Pines will be including a performance of Love is a Many Splintered Thing on Wednesday evening February 14, 2018 in celebration of Valentine's Day! This special added evening performance will be a 6:30 p.m. dinner and an 8:00 p.m. show.

For Dinner our guests will have the choice of Pan Seared Honey Dijon Pork Loin, Balsamic Glazed Grilled Chicken Caprese or Striped Pangasius each served with seasonal vegetable and Rosemary Roasted Potatoes, or Butternut Squash Ravioli in a brown butter sauce or Fettuccine Alfredo with steamed broccoli. All entrees include salad, fresh baked bread, and family style apple crisp. Additional desserts and beverages are available for an additional cost.

The Pines Dinner Theatre has been nationally recognized numerous times for its productions, dinner, and ambience. Recently the Pines has been listed as one of "America's Top 10 Unmissable Dinner Theatres" by theculturetrip.com and also as one of the "Top 16 Theatre Choices for 2015" by Leisure Group Travel, a national group travel magazine.

Love is a Many Splintered Thing plays at the Pines Dinner Theatre February 9 through March 25, 2018. Evening performances (6:30 p.m. dinner, 8:00 p.m. show) are Friday and Saturday, afternoon performances (12:30 p.m. dinner, 2:00 p.m. show) are Thursdays and Sundays. Ticket prices are $50 for adults, $35.00 for Students (10-16) and $20.00 for children ages 2-9. Ticket prices include dinner, show, ticket fees and tax. Gratuity is not included.
