Barrett Township, PA –Artistic Director, Brian Long, has announced that Pocono Mountains Theater Company will present encore performances of FLIPPING BROADWAY and THE AMISH PROJECT.

FLIPPING BROADWAY, starring popular vocalists Kara Snyder and Ken McMullen, with musical direction by Scott Besser, celebrates Broadway with a twist! Audiences will enjoy their favorite Broadway songs with Kara taking the lead on songs written for men and Ken taking on those written for women.

The evening includes music from “Victor/Victoria,” “Hamilton,” “Mame,” and many more! This is an evening of stories, songs, and fun for the whole family.

Pocono

Performances begin on Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th at the Shawnee Playhouse, followed by engagements at the Tennis Tea at Buck Hill Falls on June 21st, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Milford on June 22nd, and The Cooperage in Honesdale on June 30th. All performances are at 7 PM.

Also returning is the Gillian Turner’s moving performance in Jessica Dickey’s, THE AMISH PROJECT. In this story of forgiveness in the face of horrific tragedy, Gillian performs seven different characters ranging from six years old to middle age. Gillian, a talented actor and director, most recently appeared in “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” with Theatrical Gems. She also recently directed Rebel Stages production of “Of Mice and Men”. THE AMISH PROJECT will be performed at The Shawnee Playhouse on Sunday, June 9th at 3 PM, and Saturday, July 6th, 13th, and 20th at 2 PM.
