The Shawnee Playhouse presents a great line up of shows for the month of December, including The Nutcracker, The Messiah, Children’s theatre, and our Holiday Show, Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol! Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol by Michael Harron and Rick Cummins
Running November 16th through December 23rd Based on the novel “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, this adaptation tells the famous Dickens Classic from the perspective of Tiny Tim, whose beloved character encourages us to see both his world and our own through his wonderfully innocent and child-like eyes.
Written by the late Michael Harron and Rick Cummins, Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol was last on the Shawnee Stage in 2012. This year’s cast includes Jim Lynch as Scrooge, Finn Naughton as Tiny Tim and a large supporting cast.

Join us in the Hundred Acre Wood for an enchanting musical celebration of seasonal sharing and caring, in which Pooh, Piglet, and all their friends help Eeyore have a very merry Christmas!
A very special Friend-and-Relation tells Christopher Robin a story of a Christmas Eve when Eeyore, who lives by himself in the thistle corner of Hundred-Acre Wood, was absolutely miserable. It seems that he lost his tail, so Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet got all of their friends and organized a search. There is a great deal of fun and excitement, plus delightful songs, in the adventure that follows.
A Winnie The Pooh Christmas Tail features Dylan Hall as Winnie the Pooh, Jessica Brady as Eeyore, Tessa Eileen Scheer as Rabbit, Shelby Dudsak as Owl, Madison Karkut as Tigger, Eva Whited as Kanga, Isabelle Hilsky as Piglet and Grace Coyne as Christopher Robin. The Messiah Annual Concert – One Night ONLYDecember 22 at 8pm
Sing along with your friends and neighbors, local soloists, and live orchestra as we raise our voices in Handel’s immortal masterpiece. This festive community concert is a do-not-miss for your holiday schedule. Lead by local conductor and concertmaster, full orchestra, local soloists, then you, the audience (and chorus) in a magical experience of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah. Each audience member receives a musical score and is invited to sing the chorus numbers with the orchestra. Starting on Saturday at 8 pm December 22, 2018 in the Worthington Ballroom at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort Ticket prices for Messiah are an $10.00 donation is requested at the door for the orchestra and to keep our scores in good condition.
