Steel River Playhouse, 245 E. High Street, Pottstown presents The Addams Family, running from October 13th through 29th on the main stage. Its the perfect way to celebrate the season complete with family drama, the Addams characters youve come to love, and a group of rambunctious ghostly ancestors.
This comical feast embraces the wackiness in every family. It features an original story and a father's nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met.
And if that wasn't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesdays normal boyfriend and his parents. Matinees will be at 2 PM on the 15th, 22nd, 28th and 29th. In addition, there will be a relaxed performance at 2 PM on Saturday, October 21st.
