The Pines Dinner Theatre, 448 N 17th St, Allentown, is pleased to announce the premier of "Who Done It, an Interactive Murder Mystery" playing October 9 through November 2, 2014.
Their release reads:
"On select evenings, the Pines Dinner Theatre will be transformed into the estate of elusive Russian heiress Miss Ivanna Hampizschlang, who is hosting an exclusive charity ball.
"During the course of the evening, audience members will meet some of her unsavory friends (and enemies), and before you can say "vodka tonic" there has been a murder! The audience will collect clues, and have the opportunity to solve the crime.
"When the audience arrives for the show, they will be greeted and assigned a character to play for the evening. The roles range in scope from possibly being the killer, to participating in a group activity during the performance."
"Who Done It, an Interactive Murder Mystery" was written by long-time Pines Dinner Theatre Artistic Director Oliver Blatt.
Mr. Blatt has worked on productions across the country, including the national tours of "The Whos Tommy" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." He has been on the production staff at theatres including Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse, Lakes Region Summer Theatre, American Entertainment Productions, and Star of the Day Event Productions.
Most recently, Mr. Blatt served as the musical director and orchestrator/arranger of the New York premier of "Tombstone, the Legend of Wyatt Earp," as well as composer of the new childrens musical "Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun" and sound designer for "Warp Speed: A Sci-Fi Parody Musical."
"Who Done It, an Interactive Murder Mystery" stars Cheryl Moritz, Joshua Neth, Gene Connely, and Stacy Bechtel as characters at Miss Hampizschlangs charity ball.
