Civic Theater has staged a joyously jubilant celebration with it production of "Sister Act," now on stage through March 12 at the 19th Street Theater, 527 N. 19th St., Allentown.

When aspiring singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder by her gangster boyfriend, the police put her in witness protection in the safest place they can think of - a convent.

Caryl Churchills play about relationships and technology "Love + Information" is a fascinating kaleidoscope of theater as staged by Muhlenberg College Department of Theatre & Dance through Feb. 26 at the Allentown Colleges Baker Theater.

An enthusiastic cast of 18 plays more than 100 characters in 57 colorful micro-plays during the 1 hour 45 minute show presented without an intermission.

Its the ultimate play for todays notoriously short attention spans with vignettes that range from lasting mere moments to several minutes.

Act 1 DeSales University Theatres delightful production of "The Importance of Being Earnest" crackles with wit and humor on the Main Stage of the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts in Center Valley through March 5.The actors pitch-perfect performances elevate Oscar Wildes 1895 comedy which sizzles with crisp wordplay and outrageous situations. Wildes satire of Victorian conventions relies on his rapid-fire dialogue, and the performers in this production delivers those words with precision and obvious glee. The comic timing is impeccable.
